I'm originally from Simi Valley, Ca. I lived there until I went to college at Cal Poly, SLO where I was a computer science major. I've been in the Seattle area for almost 10 years now, most recently moving into Seattle (near Green Lake) in February of 2008.
Ok, so I've mentioned where I'm from and where I live, but what do I do? By day, I work for Microsoft in the Windows Mobile group. The people I work with are great, and I get to play with cool devices. While working for Microsoft, I graduated with a masters degree in computer science from the University of Washington.
Throughout most of my time up here in Seattle, I was on an amazing swing dancing troupe called Emerald City Swing (ECS). I was on the team for 8.5 years before I decided to leave the group to focus on other adventures. I like to dance and I love to perform, especially comedy. I have choreographed a bunch of dances and sketches for the troupe, most with some sort of comedic angle.
In 2006 I started a sketch comedy group called Haiku Trout. With ECS, it is sort of expected that the show be at least half (or ideally more) dancing. Again, I like to dance, but I wanted another venue to perform various acts of comedy. So I recruited some friends that I had worked with on ECS and created Haiku Trout. Haiku Trout is currently on hiatus, but I am hoping that we'll come back and start creating soon. In the meantime, I am just starting to actively write and choreograph again for a future project.
I also love to play sports. My favorites being volleyball, racquetball, tennis, golf, and bowling (ok, bowling is really a "recreational activity"). I also have a love for photography. Unfortunately, I haven't been keeping up in photography lately, but I do dabble in it every now and then. I've been moving more toward videography and editing.
I really love meeting new people and I have a lot of fun bringing my various friends together to meet each other and have a good time. I do this via trips, BBQs, parties, dancing, you name it. In 1997, I started a small online community called Fozzyville where my friends can meet each other and find out what activities I may have in store for everyone!
Well, that's enough about me for now.
